Necessity leads to invention...
John Rosamond, a home builder located in Bend, Oregon, wanted to incorporate glass block into a home he was constructing. He wanted to use glass block throughout the house and after trying some of the methods that existed at that time he decided to develop an improved, more practical, less messy, less time-consuming method. That idea eventually grew into the company that exists today.
Pacific Accent begins...
Originally named Pacific Accent and located in Bend, Oregon, John continued building with glass block. Devising ways to build windows that could be installed in varying locations, including areas with humid conditions.
and Expands...
As the company grew, the facility moved to Medford, Oregon and a second location opened in Grand Junction, Colorado. John then decided to keep "Pacific" in the name but dropped "Accent" and the company became Pacific Glass Block Windows.
Wait...that's not in the Pacific...
In 2007, John moved from the Pacific NorthWest to Oologah, OK to be closer to his family. He moved the manufacturing plant with him but kept the Pacific Glass Block Windows name.
